Exclusive: Google Pixel 9 Series Design Overhaul Leaked

Last month, images surfaced that gave a hands-on look at the upcoming Google Pixel 9 series, and now, the same source is back with new leaks. These latest images show not only the Pixel 9 Pro but also the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL. As expected, on any given day, weeks before the actual launch, we are greeted with another Google Pixel hardware leak.

Meanwhile, e-commerce retailer Rozetked has unveiled new images showing the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL side-by-side, a full five months ahead of Google's usual October release schedule.

The Pixel 9 lineup leak comes as Google's new Pixel 8A hit shelves this week. The Google Pixel 9 series could retain its unique design language. But it remains to be seen if the tech giant will continue to label this as a "camera bar" now that it doesn't span the entire width of the phone, as seen in the leaked image.

This represents a significant shift in the Pixel’s visual identity, but the new design still stands out year after year compared to Apple and Samsung’s offerings. As usual, the vanilla Pixel 9 could have a dual camera setup. At the same time, the Pro model adds a third lens that allows for telephoto zoom capability, similar to Apple's iPhone Pro and Pro Max models.

Considering how we already have an idea of what the upcoming Pixel 9 line of devices will look like, it wouldn’t hurt for Google to reveal some different colors. It’s worth remembering that the mid-range Google Pixel 8a was launched ahead of the annual Google I/O event.

The phone features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, making it 40 percent brighter than last year's Pixel 7a.

The Google Pixel 8A is priced at Rs 52,999 (MRP) for the 128GB variant and Rs 59,999 (MRP) for the 256GB version. The handset is currently available for pre-order on the e-commerce site Flipkart in India and will go on sale from May 14, 2024, at 6:30 am.

Google Pixel 8a Bank Design

Consumers can avail of the free 12-month EMI of Rs 4,000 through selected bank cards. Additionally, there is an exchange bonus of Rs 9,000 on selected smartphones.

As part of the pre-order offer, customers can purchase the Pixel Buds A-Series for Rs 999 anytime during the pre-order period, which starts on May 7, 2024, between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. 30 PM IST 1 p.m. on the 14th of May.

Conclusion: While smartphone users eagerly embrace the latest improvements, the Android 15 beta update for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open devices heralds a new era in user experience and promises users will promote enhanced functionality and efficiency.
