IBM's Technology Expert Labs Embark on GenAI Revolution, Expanding Presence in India

Tech major IBM on Monday announced the expansion of its Technology Expert Labs capacity in India to accelerate the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and key technologies.

The lab in Bengaluru and Kochi will focus on helping clients realize the potential of AI, hybrid cloud, and cybersecurity technologies to empower their businesses in a more competitive environment, the company said.

To better deliver these solutions, companies around the world are rapidly adopting AI and generative AI technologies. They need to have the right skills and talent to integrate new technologies into their existing IT landscape/business infrastructure.

According to the recent Global AI Adoption Index 2023 by Morning Consult on behalf of IBM, 33% of surveyed companies report that limited AI awareness and knowledge hinders successful AI adoption and 22 % say it is very difficult to integrate and scale AI services Furthermore, 35% also say that lack of skills to implement them is a big barrier to adopting generative AI.

Technology Expert Lab's deep knowledge and global experience will accelerate technology adoption for customers globally as India Center looks to build capabilities and capabilities in Generative AI, Data & AI, Automation, Sustainability, Security, Cloud, and zsoftware.
