Start Your Week Right: Today’s Wordle Is Your Mini Win

It's Monday morning; motivation has escaped, coffee is brewing, and work is beckoning. Ready? Not quite.

But then, a little triumph. Wordle, where are you? Right here.

Before assaulting those deadlines, stretch the brain with today's puzzle. Stuck already? We'll even give you hints and the answer below. One word, six tries, a mini-win to get your week started right.

DID YOU KNOW?

Interestingly, Wordle is not only about vocabulary but also involves pattern recognition and probability. Letters that carry a higher statistical chance of appearing will immensely enhance your chances of winning. That is why having data-backed starting words has become a popular thing—especially the ones that have the common consonants and vowels in strategic spots.

So the next time you open Wordle, remember it is no longer just picking a word from thin air. Knowing the letter frequency and playing the odds will give you that edge and maybe even maintain your winning streak!

Wordle: Quick Start Guide

New to Wordle? Here’s how it works: Wordle is a web-based word puzzle made by Josh Wardle that is announced every day. There is a secret word that is five letters long to be guessed in six or fewer tries. After making your guess, you get clues in the form of colors:

  • Green: The letter is in the correct position.
  • Yellow: The letter is in the word, but in the wrong place.
  • Gray: The letter doesn’t appear in the word at all.

It’s half strategy, half luck, and all reward when you get that ideal word.

Yesterday’s Wordle (June 22, 2025)

The Wordle solution was THRUM, which means to sound with a monotonous hum.

Take a chance before you scroll down to the solution with these subtle tips:

Clue 1:  It contains two D’s—an unusual double letter

Clue 2:  This word describes something strange or unexpected.

Clue 3:  Only one vowel appears in the word, and it’s at the start.

Super Hint

The word might sound like it belongs in Dr. Seuss: playful and odd, even ending with that familiar adverbial -ly.
It starts with a double O with just one consonant repeated twice in the middle and ends like many words that describe manner... except this one is not that much in common use.

And So It Is, Another Word Fits Nicely Into Place

Carving the solution from two tries down to six was the best you could do. You played it, you thought it, and you won. Wordle is much more than a game; it is a daily pause, stretching the mind for a minute, a silent victory that is wholly and totally yours.

Maybe you'll come back for another puzzle later; maybe you'll exchange scores with a friend. Or maybe you'll just yank that tab off the screen and smile a tiny, satisfied smile.

Either way, Wordle will be waiting tomorrow with five fresh letters, endless possibilities, and that little thrill.
