Vivo X Fold 5 Hits India at Rs. 1.49 Lakh with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 6000mAh Battery, ZEISS Cameras, and Big Launch Offers
Vivo has officially rolled out its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 5, in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 1,49,999, this phone blends top-tier design with performance-driven internals. Available in a single Titanium Grey variant, the device is now live for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon, Vivo’s India e-store, and select offline stores.
This premium foldable phone enters the Indian scene with a bold pitch: power, durability, and style packed into a single foldable design. Leading the highlights is the foldable 8.03-inch 2K+ internal AMOLED display, flanked by a 6.53-inch FHD+ cover screen. Both panels support 120Hz LTPO refresh rates and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, offering vivid visuals in any light.
Flagship Performance and Durable Power
Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 5 runs Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, armed with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The combination surely ensures smooth performance and multitasking and almost zero loading times; all things expected of any modern-day flagship.
The 6000mAh battery by Vivo takes things up a notch as it is stuffed with fourth-gen silicon negative electrode technology that increases energy density and supports extreme temperatures, going as low as -30°C. The smartphone supports 80W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and reverse wireless power-sharing.
Pro-Grade Cameras and Durability
Photography is massive with triple 50MP cameras that are ZEISS-engineered. The primary 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor features OIS, which clicks pictures that are sharp and steady. The adjacent ones are a 50MP telephoto with 3x zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Dual 20MP front cameras provide service to both displays for better selfies and video calling.
Durability also gets attention. The carbon fiber hinge on the X Fold 5 has been tested for 600,000 folds. The phone also meets water resistance ratings of IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9+ and holds IP5X dust protection.
To mark the launch, Vivo offers several deals. Buyers can opt for EMI options starting at Rs. 6,250 a month with zero down payment. There is up to 10% instant cashback on select cards from SBI, HDFC, IDFC First, DBS, HSBC, and Yes Bank. Vivo also provides a V-Upgrade exchange bonus, a free one-year extended warranty, and Vivo TWS 3e earbuds for Rs. 1,499. A 70% discount on V-Shield protection with assured cashback adds more value to the package.
With efficient batteries, crisp camera setup, and flagship-grade performance, Vivo X Fold5 stands as a serious challenger in the foldable phone market of India. The segment is thus strongly contested by the device that aims at power users and enthusiasts who seek more from their devices.
