Google Pixel 10a Debuts in India at Rs. 49,999 With 3,000 Nits Display

Google has officially launched the Pixel 10a in India, bringing its top-tier AI capabilities and the powerful Tensor G4 chip to a more accessible price point. It is now available for Rs. 49,999 across the country. This latest A-series entry focuses on longevity, offering seven years of OS and security updates to keep the hardware relevant until 2033.

AI and Camera Innovation
The Pixel 10a includes advanced AI tools that were available only in the 'Pro' models. Another major addition to the model is the new 'Camera Coach' feature. It provides real-time tips to improve photo framing. The smartphone also integrates Auto Best Take, which analyzes group photos of up to 20 people to select the best facial expressions for everyone in the shot.

These AI tools work alongside a high-quality dual-camera system comprising a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. These sensors are powered by the new Tensor G5 chip. In some regions, certain versions may use the G4 chip. Both chips enable the smooth running of complex tasks like Magic Editor and Live Translate on the phone. This makes the A-series feel faster and smarter than the previous versions.

Hardware, Pricing, and Sustainability
The Google Pixel 10a departs from the aesthetics of older models, featuring a "bumpless" design. The famous protruding camera bar is gone, and the camera lenses sit almost flat against the rear casing. This gives the phone a sleeker and more modern appearance.

Google also focuses on environmental sustainability with this launch, as the phone uses a 100% recycled aluminum frame. It is also the first A-series phone to use recycled cobalt and copper in its parts. The Pixel 10a’s technical specifications are very strong for a mid-range phone:
