Google’s Pixel 10 Series is Launching on 20 August with Four Sleek Models: Here’s What to Expect
Google Pixel 10 release date is announced to be 20 August 2025. The latest lineup will receive significant software and hardware upgrades and enter the market with four versions: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
While the tech giant has already made the smartphone’s new look public, one notable feature that is currently making the headlines is the AI-powered camera tools. The improvements in camera setup, colours, and processors are also quite evident.
Google Pixel 10 Design, Display and Colours: What’s New
Google Pixel 10 is said to have a 6.3-inch FHD+ display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Pro models, on the other hand, feature LTPO displays and are equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus protection only on one side.
Apart from this, the Pixel 10 Pro model will be available in Moonstone and Jade colours, while the base version might see an Indigo finish.
What are the Camera Upgrades in the Google Pixel 10?
For the first time, the base model of the Pixel smartphones will have a triple-camera setup: a 13MP ultra-wide lens, an 11MP telephoto lens, and a 9MP or less primary sensor.
Contrarily, Pixel 10 Pro models haven’t received any significant upgrades in their cameras. They feature a 48MP ultra-wide sensor, a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom, and a primary sensor of 50MP. The front camera in Pixel 10 is rumored to be 12MP, whereas Pixel 10 Pro models have a 42MP camera.
Pixel 10 Processor & Storage Enhancements
Every Pixel 10 series model is expected to have the new Tensor G5 chipset manufactured on 3nm technology. While the Pro model will have 16GB RAM with 256GB storage, the base model will have 12GB RAM with 128GB storage.
