While initial reports caused widespread panic regarding his condition, leading medical experts have clarified that he is stable and undergoing routine precautionary monitoring.

Minimal Brain Hemorrhage: Clarifying the Core Facts

Salim Khan did not have major surgery. Doctors confirmed that his condition did not require an invasive operation. Instead, he had a special test called a Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA), which helps doctors look closely at the blood vessels in the brain. Dr. Jalil Parkar explained that the ventilator was used only as a safety step to control his blood pressure.

"Yes, he had a brain hemorrhage, which was very minimal, which did not require any surgical intervention. There was no need for any surgery... The ventilator was a safeguard so that he does not worsen. He was not critical," Dr. Jalil Parkar stated, as reported by The Indian Express.

A team of heart and brain specialists is watching him closely. Salman, Arbaaz, and Sohail Khan are at the hospital with him. His longtime friend and partner Javed Akhtar also visited him.

What Does a ‘Minimal’ Hemorrhage Mean for a 90-Year-Old?

Many fans want to know why a ‘minimal’ hemorrhage requires a ventilator at age 90. At this age, any brain issue needs extra care. The ventilator helps the brain rest by doing some of the body's work. The main goal now is to manage his hypertension, or high blood pressure, to prevent more bleeding.

"Keeping in mind the age, the time of recovery is more... By tomorrow, hopefully, we will take him off the ventilator. All in all, he is doing quite well," explained Dr. Parkar to Hindustan Times about Salim Khan’s health.

Overall, this event shows that even minor health issues are serious for people in their 90s. Everyone is waiting for Salim Khan to be discharged from the hospital. He is facing this health battle with the same strength he showed throughout his famous career.
