Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma return from India to Mayfair in Bridgerton Season 4, Part 2. This time, they are accompanied by their little one, Edmund. As they enjoy their lives as parents with their baby boy.
In season 2, episode 1, Anthony meets Kate during a morning horse ride. Later, at a ball, they bumped into each other again and began their conversation about marriage. Anthony is fascinated by Kate's courage and her willingness to speak her mind.
During the social events of the London season, Edwina was introduced as the season's diamond by Queen Charlotte. Anthony immediately starts pursuing her, driven by his desire for marriage. He pursues Edwina because she perfectly fits his checklist for a wife.
At Aubrey Hall, Daphne Bridgerton unexpectedly sees Anthony and Kate share an intimate moment in the library. This closeness between Anthony & Kate is also noticed by Edwina, leading her to cancel the wedding as well as to reject Anthony.
Due to guilt about disrupting her sister’s wedding, Kate tries to escape her feelings for Anthony by going for a solitary ride in the rain. After being thrown from her horse and hitting her head against a rock, Anthony discovers Kate unconscious and carries her back to Lady Danbury’s house, where he finds that she has a serious head injury.
Kate falls into a temporary coma. While she is recovering, Kate finds out that Anthony has visited her and proposed; however, believing that Anthony acted out of duty, she rejects the proposal. Kate meets Anthony again at the Featherington Ball. At this time, they finally express their love for each other, and they get married.

During a recent interview with Variety, Bridgerton's showrunner, Jess Brownell detailed the pair's return: 'We’ve confirmed Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley are both in the season, and if you haven’t seen them in Part 1, you’re going to see them in Part 2.' ' Continuing, she revealed, "They do have an integral role to play in terms of being the viscount and viscountess and the elder siblings." And I think it’s lovely to have them back to advise and guide.'
