Shah Rukh Khan surprises Sitaare Zameen Par cast on set during Aamir Khan’s comeback shoot
Shah Rukh Khan paid an unplanned visit to the Sitaare Zameen Par set. He surprised the entire cast with his arrival and lit up the mood. The visit was on the prompting of repeated invitations by Aamir Khan, who is returning to the big screen with the film.
A behind-the-scenes video posted by the makers features SRK interacting with the cast and crew, clicking pictures, and doling out words of encouragement.
Aamir’s Invite Finally Bears Fruit
King Khan disclosed that Aamir has been inviting him for days to the set. “Aamir has asked me at least ten times to come meet the actors,” Shah Rukh stated. “Even only three days ago, he would say, ‘Shah, tu ana yaar (please come)’.” His visit brought with it excitement and smiles, and he embraced Aamir upon arrival.
Don Greets Newcomers
The Bollywood megastar hung out with all ten first-timers from the movie: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The young stars talked about their favorite Shah Rukh movies, some of which are Chak De! India and Don.
Shah Rukh also treated them to a moment of delight when he posed for a group photo with the entire cast and crew and struck his classical arms-outstretched stance.
About Sitaare Zameen Par
RS Prasanna directs the film, which is a spiritual follow-up to Aamir’s hit Taare Zameen Par in 2007. In this new tale, Aamir is a basketball coach who trains a group of players with special abilities. Genelia D’Souza shares a prominent role with him.
The film is an official Hindi remake of the Spanish movie Campeones, which was appreciated for its sincere depiction of a team coping with adversity.
Hitting Theaters on June 20
The movie is Aamir Khan’s return to films after three years. Although there was said to have been an OTT platform offer of ₹120 crore, Aamir rejected it to prioritize a release in theaters first.
Sitaare Zameen Par will hit theatres on June 20. With its new cast, heart-wrenching plot, and a surprise appearance by Shah Rukh Khan, the film is already making waves before its release.
