Ajaz-Khan-Accused-of-Rape—Now-Missing-After-OTT-Show-Sparks-OutrageSecond FIR Hits Ajaz Khan as Viral Clip Shows Contestant Forced into Intimacy on His Controversial OTT Show

Ajaz Khan, known for hosting the controversial web show House Arrest, faces serious criminal charges after a fellow actor accused him of rape. Mumbai Police have registered an FIR under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are actively searching for him.

Details of the Allegation

According to the complaint, the 30-year-old woman alleged that Khan offered her a hosting role in House Arrest and later proposed marriage. The woman claimed he gained her trust and invited her to his home, where he allegedly raped her on April 25, 2025.

Repeated Assault and False Promises

She further alleged that Khan continued to assault her at various locations, justifying his actions with religion and sending false promises of her marriage and opportunity to act. The FIR bears charges under sections 64, 64(2M), 69, and 74 of the BNS.

Police Investigation Underway

Immediately after the complaint was filed at the Charkop Police Station, a search operation for Khan was initiated by the police. The officials disclosed that his phone had been switched off and that he had not been reached since. Police teams tried to locate him at his known places, but to no avail.

A Second FIR and Instances of Some Prior Incidents: Second FIR and Prior Controversies

It is the second FIR registered against Khan within a couple of weeks. His show House Arrest, being aired on the Ullu app, has already drawn flak for alleged obscenity and demeaning representation of women. The show, launched in April, locked 12 contestants inside a villa and gave them provocative tasks to perform.

Viral Clip Giving Rise to Outrage

One singular viral clip garnered major criticism when a lady contestant, visibly uncomfortable, was moved into an intimate demonstration against her will. Khan was said to have promoted such an act on camera, while others clapped and laughed.

Legal Action Against the Show

The show faced legal trouble earlier for obscenity and has now been removed from the Ullu platform. Khan, the show’s producer and the owner of Ullu, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police for questioning.

Ullu App Under Fire

The Ullu app itself has faced criticism for streaming bold and controversial content, with House Arrest becoming a flashpoint. The case has reignited debates over the lack of strict pre-release checks and accountability in India’s OTT space.

Concerns Over OTT Regulations

Streaming platforms in India fall under the IT Rules 2021, which demand age-based content labels and a grievance redressal system. However, critics argue that many platforms exploit loopholes, pushing the boundaries of permissible content.

Political Response and Public Outcry

Political leaders and the public have demanded action. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi raised the issue in parliamentary committees, and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has assured that necessary steps will be taken.

Ajaz Khan's Past Experiences

The rape allegation against Ajaz Khan adds to his long list of controversies, from drug charges to communal statements. His current disappearance only deepens suspicion and public anger.
