The crashes happened when “a Tesla vehicle travelling with FSD engaged entered an area of reduced roadway visibility conditions (sun glare, fog, dust) and Tesla’s FSD continued operating,” the statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said.
