Shreyas Mishra Shares Success Mantra
Shreyas Mishra of Delhi-NCT secured a perfect 100 NTA score (percentile). He even shed light on his exam preparation and complications. To stay determined to his goal, Shreyas deleted every possible social media application on his smartphone. This step helped him achieve his goal.
Shreyas studied at Kulachi Hansraj DAV School, Rohini. To maintain balance, the JEE topper leaned on music and sports. He also shared his alternative plans if the results were not satisfactory. His plan B was to pursue Mathematics. “I would pursue higher studies in mathematics, in a place like the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru,” the JEE topper was quoted as saying.
"While I began preparation early on, it was only two years ago that I shifted to a PG in Punjabi Bagh, away from my parents who stay in Greater Noida, to start a full-fledged aspirant's journey. My fascination with maths pulled me towards JEE. While I aimed to get into the country's top institutes, topping the exam was completely unexpected," shared Mishra to a news agency.
"My schedule wasn't fixed in terms of hours. Some days it used to be five to six hours, whereas on other days it stretched to 10 or 11. I tried to dedicate as much time as I could, but I still feel I wasted a lot of time," he said.
"The last one-and-a-half months were spent giving numerous mocks, doing in-depth analysis, and getting doubts cleared in classes and discussions among peers," Mishra explained.
“I deleted every social media app on my smartphone to stay focused,” Shreyas said on how he avoided distractions.
