Elite Data Hub is a business consulting firm dedicated to helping India-based organizations working with US companies. Elite Data Hub was born out of Elite Precision Consulting,a company that focuses on helping physicians and healthcare executives with their business operations and offshore vendor management. Elite Data Hub began by offering India-based companies business consulting services that spanned from business development to capitalizing on US opportunities. Additional services include training and workflow improvement and client interventions to ensure higher profits with the least amount of effort. Elite Data Hub’s services allow India-based companies to have better positioning in the US markets while allowing the decision-makers in the US to have an increased level of comfort outsourcing their work.

With the high demand for such services in India, Elite Data Hub spent 13 months productizing all services and offering them in bite-size forms. This was made available to all companies regardless of their size or financial state. These ala carte products were created with the expertise and vision of ensuring the same quality of work, previously offering to high dollar clients. The products were being delivered within the budget of the India-based company, providing services that include US-focused slide decks that could be presented to the US companies, optimizing website content and social media content that was tailored for US clientele.  In 2021, the company further evolved by starting the ‘#love4india’ movement which allowed many companies to take advantage of the products at very affordable prices, some as low as $25. This movement was intended to empower even the smallest of businesses to keep going and to not give up while fighting the impactful pandemic that was affecting so many organizations. To date, this movement is still in full effect!

The True Leader

Ciara Lewin is the Founder and CEO of Elite Data Hub. She comes with a background in business management as she started her first business at the age of 10. Ciara grew up having an entrepreneurial spirit emerging as a leader. Traveling across the world and working with small and large companies helped Ciara to create sustainable companies thus shaping her views of how connected the world is.

As the CEO of Elite Data Hub and two other consulting firms based in Seattle, WA (Elite Precision Consulting) and Ghana, Africa (Elite Africa), Ciara’s role is to visualize the journey ahead and help clients and teams with various trends of the markets that Elite Data Hub serves.

Dedication Mixed with Sensitization

The most vivid experience that shaped Ciara’s view on the world and how interconnected it is was when she was living in Cebu, Philippines, working with a large team that was handling healthcare outsourcing work.

While working remotely with the US executive, she saw just how ineffective communication can impact things. There, she also saw the superiority/inferiority complex that people try to avoid, glaring at herin the face. She quickly realized that we all are here for the same purpose, to live a fulfilling and abundant life and leave this world with a part of who we are. That was the time when Ciara made a promise to herself that she would not view differences amongst cultures or traditions in a biased point of view. And that she would do any and everything in her power to help bring the best resources to the world through her guidance and leadership. This was a pivotal moment in her life and business.

Learning from Experiences

A major challenge that Ciara faced in the early days of establishing her company, was to make all India-based companies understand and be receptive to what Elite Data Hub was offering which resulted in both immediate and long-term results.

However, after working with various companies, she soon realized the need for revisiting her approach as many were not wanting value but only the immediate financial implications of that work. This helped her to better tailor the products and services strategically for the long-term benefits as well as give clients tangible results that they could access immediately.

Attributes that Every Entrepreneur Should Possess

Ciara says “It is essential that an entrepreneur believes in their vision and being self-aware is absolutely necessary. If you are trying to follow what the next person’s vision is and trying to replicate it, then during tough times you will crumble. Rather understand who you are as a person and how you fit into the world as an innovator, creator, and entrepreneur. Then you will be able to stand strong and better position yourself and company through any trial or setback you experience”.

She believes that discipline is the key attribute. Realizing that many don’t see the long nights, endless calls, and mountains of research that is put into developing and evolving a company. She understands that having discipline will allow you to keep pressing forward with what you know you should do even when you don't feel like doing it.

Practice Behind the Product Innovations

Before innovating the products and solutions, Ciara listens to her clients both who are pleased and not pleased and closely considers their feedback. After which she addresses her team on those lines. This helps her understand better the challenges before launching new products. Ciara states that her network in India is her focus group from whom she takes feedback and opinions. She says that this practice has helped her understand business challenges that are out of her purview. Following the global news especially of the countries that Elite Data Hub is planning to expand has also influenced her innovations.

Technologies to Rely 

Disruptive technologies, primarily AI tools had a great impact especially in the healthcare space for Elite Data Hub’s clients in India, says Ciara. Earlier, a company would essentially rely on manpower and expertise to ensure quality measures. But now with technological advances, the systems are capable of identifying risks, mitigating errors and executing the job faster and more precise than 100 human resources combined. Ciara asserts that these technologies can help leaders like her to ensure and identify how human capital can bring value to the clients.  She quotes herself as an example in creating new platforms for her India-based clients.

Elite Data Hub has helped companies which are new to the technological space, to internally master and come up with a new product or service that is needed in their market. In the States, she attended many AI and machine learning conferences with the sole purpose of seeing how Elite Data Hub can better explain what is happening in the industry to their clients so they can remain competitive. She encourages today's leaders to embrace technology whereas previously they could still get away with the paper and pen processes.

Looking at the Future

“I see a market that has not even been tapped into yet as it deals with consulting and business enhancement for countries around the world,” says Ciara.  Elite Data Hub is going to expand its services to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Malaysia, and various countries in Africa where there is a requirement of global expertise for the country’s growth and sustainability. She further explains after analysing the global competitiveness reports and other sources, that the energy, transportation, and healthcare sectors require more innovation and strategies to accommodate the growing population in both India and surrounding countries. She states that the future of Elite Data Hub will also adapt and take risks to be at the forefront of guiding the companies and industries to sustainable futures.

Piece of Advice to Emerging Leaders

The advice Ciara gives to upcoming leaders is to think and strategize before implementing solutions. She suggests leaders not to confirm too much with the team’s ideas and social media, rather, she recommends not to stray away from the vision and insists to invest in the team at the same time.

Since many leaders are focused on the financial gains, they cut corners and take shortcuts just to improve their bottom line. She alerts that such actions can lead to disloyal and uncommitted teammates.

Lastly, she encourages leaders to spend some time in deep reflection and meditation. Practicing meditation will also harness a certain kind of energy that invigorates the soul and fosters more creativity that is already inside of us. Ciara says that she benefits from this, by bringing space and clarity to her mind to better guide her company and clients.
