Cevitr

Cevitris a company formed with the philosophy of complementing automation technology with a simple business engagement model, thereby enabling organisations of all sizes to take advantage of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The company aims to digitally empower an organisation’s workforce by offering the Digital Workmate and consultancy services, becoming their digital transformation ally.

The Cevitr platform constitutes a best of breed technology model combining the power of RPA technology with Artificial Intelligence. The platform has two categories of Digital Workmate (software robots), namely Jo – SimpleJo and SmartJo. Jo can automate repetitive, mundane but important manual tasks that take place in businesses daily freeing up current employees' time to work on more exciting and value-added projects, which also increases employee satisfaction and engagement. Basically, the boring tasks that make users feel like a robot, leave those to Jo and users can go back to being human!

SimpleJo

The SimpleJo Digital Workmate is designed to execute processes that require no subjective judgement to be applied and are the workmate of choice to start the digital empowerment journey. SimpleJo's are able to execute routine business processes by mimicking the way people interact with applications through a user interface and also by following simple rules to make decisions.

SimpleJo’s have the ability to execute swivel chair work patterns where they collate inputs from a set of systems, process them using rules and enter the outputs into a system of record. SimpleJosrely on structured data although the data sources can be varied. Unlike other breakthrough process innovations, a first glimpse of the possibilities that the SimpleJos can deliver may be realised in a matter of days.

SmartJo

The SmartJo Digital Workmate has cognitive capabilities and the ability to execute more complex processes, harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence. SmartJo's are developed using pertinent datasets and training algorithms to deliver predictive outcomes which may simulate certain human intelligence characteristics such as, inference based on historical learning. This enables SmartJo’s to execute relatively more complex tasks using unstructured input data. This unique combination of non-trivial data handling and process automation makes SmartJo's a compelling enabler for the execution of business process workflows, otherwise considered to be outside the scope and reach of the more conventional RPA solution offering.

Smart Jo's deploying algorithmic techniques of Artificial Intelligence are able to process complex datasets associated with increasingly popular use cases related to areas such as natural language processing, natural language generation, machine learning, cognitive analytics and sensing. This provides SmartJo's ability to recognise images, handwriting, speech and sound and process vast amount of unstructured data, making the Digital Workmate a valuable asset, complementing the activities of a workforce counterpart.

This creative and revolutionary technology is currently transforming Cevitr’s client's businesses across a broad sector of industries; Healthcare, Finance, Legal, Hospitality, PR and Travel & Tourism. RPA is the future of workplace; it needs to be embraced by businesses or they will lose their competitive advantage and find themselves with inefficient staff and low levels of employee retention. With the prediction that by 2025, the majority of the global workforce will be comprised of Millennial's and Gen Z born between 1983 and 1999, workplaces of the future will have to be ready to leverage the talent of this highly educated and capable workforce by meeting their expectations of work experience. This expectation does not involve spending hours on tedious and repetitive tasks but it does involve embracing technology and working on a variety of customer-focused and value-led projects. Cevitr's Digital Workmate strives to deliver incremental economic benefit to organisations while facilitating greater employee satisfaction through the pursuit of more challenging tasks.

Core Business Value that Defines Mission

Cevitr offers businesses the ultimate innovative solution. The company serves a plethora of customers from a broad range of industry verticals with a ground-breaking Robotic Process Automation (RPA) enabled Digital Workforce. Enabling small and medium businesses' ability to gain a competitive edge in their marketplace and providing access to this revolutionary technology is a core part of Cevitr's philosophy.

The company helps large and small enterprises to free-up employees from performing important but mundane routine tasks, such that ever-increasing workloads are managed effectively. In doing so, Cevitr delivers incremental economic benefit to the organisation, while facilitating greater employee satisfaction through the pursuit of more challenging tasks.

Cevitr’s energies in the incubation phase were focused on getting the maximum value from its investments on the technology platform and resources by investing in RPA technology. It enables cloud functionality, creation of robust processes and frameworks while ensuring data security and GDPR compliance. The company now has a platform of merit on which its customer engagements are running.

Exceptional Leaders Guiding the Future Workplace

Jaideep Mudholkar is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Cevitr. With over 25 years of experience in the IT sector, Jaideep spotted a market need for RPA to be made accessible to businesses of all sizes. He believes that “An idea becomes a great business opportunity when it creates endless possibilities.” Cevitr was founded to explore the endless possibilities of this game-changing technology.

Jaideep is recognised in the UK & European markets as a Dealmaker of repute and has played a key role in securing for his previous employers, multiyear IT Outsourcing contracts with high TCV. In doing so, he has made a significant contribution to the accelerated growth witnessed by them. Jaideep has worked with Tata Consultancy Services, HP Enterprise Services and Atos SE where he has also managed the interface between a diverse range of professionals and brought about an entrepreneurial approach to his work.

Ramesh Menon, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Cevitr, also brings his expertise in Digital Transformation and outsourcing to Cevitr that is backed by nearly two decades of experience in technology businesses. According to him, “Disruptive innovation is accelerated when breakthrough technology is accessible to everyone,” and he is passionate about working with businesses to simplify their RPA uptake.

Before embarking on his entrepreneurial venture, Ramesh worked in various leadership capacities in Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services and Harman International (A Samsung Company) having organically grown business portfolios that he was responsible for. Ramesh has a track record of driving strategic transformation deals across the UK, Europe and the Asia Pacific. He is passionate about fostering robust business relationships and driving value creation.

Jaideep and Ramesh have ensured that Cevitr is an equal opportunity employer and gives opportunities to experienced and fresh graduates alike. The company also employs apprentices and interns to create a dynamic workforce. Cevitr operates a flexible working approach with its employees who all have core hours that suit their individual lifestyle and responsibilities outside of work. Helping them achieve a work-life balance is important to the company. Cevitr has offered part-time contracts to employees with young children to help them back to work without the stress of childcare.

The company also operates a flat structure and has open communication between employees. An example is a weekly call with the co-founders of the business with all employees so each area of the business; Technology & Delivery, Marketing and Sales all have visibility of the core activities and access to the senior executives, from intern to management, should employees have any questions. This ensures everyone is aligned to the businesses' approach and goals from bottom up. It builds a collaborative approach, team support and motivation.

Cevitr is a strong advocate of supporting and developing staff, employing interns one year in industry placements, apprentices and graduates and supporting employees with days out of the business to attend college. Along with understanding employees' career aspirations and helping them to be achieved and aligned within a small startup, each of the co-founders, directors and team members brings unique market experience and capability. One common theme that brings the team together is the ability and willingness to work outside the comfort zone, disrupt the conventional status quo in creating a business with truly endless possibilities; for itself and businesses – preparing clients for the future workplace.

Underpinning the Scope of New-Age Technologies

RPA and AI are attracting a lot of attention from the industry driven by the value that can be delivered to organisations. Whilst many innovative solutions and technologies continue to disrupt the market, where RPA scores highly is the ability to create value with the least amount of disruption and change to the business. An RPA powered bot would be able to replicate tasks that a person does with very little change in terms of systems, integration or process change.

The second key impact of the technology is that the ROI and returns from an RPA programme (depending on the deployment model chosen) can be very quick for eg. Leveraging a Digital Worker using the Cevitr model can typically give returns in 4 to 6 weeks from initiation. No other technology with this magnitude of ROI has been able to deliver such quick returns.

Improved Technology Deployments Make Inventive

A combined application of compelling technology and impact on the marketplace has made RPA a proposition that no organisation can ignore in the coming years, the Digital Workmate is the future workplace. So, what is Cevitr’s USP, what makes it innovative and allows it to keep that competitive edge?

Firstly, it comes down to its business model which is a niche within the industry. The deployment method for the Digital Workmate is ‘as-a-service.’ Cevitr takes full ownership of building, running and maintaining the automation meaning businesses don’t have to worry about licence, technology, or people investments. The company's platform offering of a Digital Workmate comes all-inclusive, making it possible to go from discussions to a fully automated process in less than 30 days.

Secondly, Cevitr differentiates its services using a combination of a unique business model and a disruptive commercial model which mimics the benefits of the RPA technology, which is known for its speed, accuracy and simplicity. The Cevitr 'as-a-service' business model is a combination of these three characteristics. With a robust business and delivery model combined with a market-leading technology platform, the company has created a significant competitive advantage and is a disrupter in the space; a truly innovative business.

Addressing Challenges for Better Performance

For the company, it has been very interesting two years where the initial period was focused on building the platform to be scalable and robust to deliver services 24/7 across the globe. The last 12 months have been exciting in terms of onboarding customers and delivering quality service. The challenges the company faces are the usual ones that any new company would face while building a market presence – getting the brand to be recognisable through merit and being able to cut through the noise and make themselves heard in a place where large and small players are present. Thankfully, the service Cevitr has delivered has helped it build a reputation of being reliable and its business and commercial proposition has really helped in building a concrete differentiation to be able to stand out from the crowd.

Notable Achievements and Client Feedback

Cevitr is bronze award winners in 2018 and 2019 for Science and Innovation within the North East Cheshire Business Awards. The company is a finalist within the Inspire 19 Business Awards for Excellence in Digital Technology and Innovation Excellence (results to be announced November 21st) along with being shortlisted as a finalist within the Business Innovation category for the North West Business Awards (results to be announced March 2020.)

Cevitr serves its clients in a wide range of domains, including Healthcare, Public Relationship & Marketing, Music Distribution, Lifestyle Discount Provider, Travel & Tourism, Construction, and Legal.

The company has also recognized by its clients with precious feedback.

“We are so impressed by Cevitr and our digital workforce we are already working on scaling up RPA in our business,” M. Pophale, Head of Operations, Reelabs.

Shaping the Future of Work

As a fast-growing tech company that aims to uniquely position businesses for the future of work, Cevitr will keep pushing itself to remain current, relevant and useful to its clients. The company will continue to increase the capability of its platform with AI and Cognitive solutions to complement its existing RPA offering. The launch of its Sentiment Analysis Digital Workmate is imminent, and Cevitr has recently added Optical Character Recognition abilities to its product offering.

To ensure growth and its ability to serve the market, the company has a robust sales and marketing strategy with a local team in the UK and a strong set of partnerships for global markets. Geographically, Cevitr has already made an impact within the American market and is looking to expand further into the U.S. and other markets. The company’s partnerships are two-pronged, one is a direct channel where it contracts directly with its end customers using a channel introduction and the second where it white labels the Cevitr services as an offering to the partner’s end clients. This latter is for markets where Cevitr does not have a direct presence now and where the partner has an existing relationship with the customer. The company is also looking at the market and sector-specific JVs with select partners.

Cevitr aspires to be a global business that succeeded in disrupting the conventional status quo by making disruptive innovation available to businesses large and small. In doing so, the company would have built an organisation that is a ‘Great Place to Work’ where the exuberance of youth is ably supported by experienced professionals, thereby aiding professional development of all colleagues who work in Cevitr.
