Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Thalapathy Vijay faced an overwhelming crowd of fans at Chennai Airport on Sunday. The actor returned from Malaysia after the Jana Nayagan audio launch, and the crowd of admirers was so big that some people even tried to see the actor from afar. 

The security team acted fast when Vijay accidentally slipped and fell while getting into his car and ensured he was safely escorted inside.

The Jana Nayagan audio launch, held in Malaysia, was attended by almost one lakh fans and also secured a spot in the Malaysian Book of Records. The event was conducted at Bukit Jalil Stadium and showcased big names like Pooja Hegde, Priyamani, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and lyricist Vivek.

Vijay described the overwhelming support, saying, “When I entered the cinema, I thought I was building a small sand house here. But you all have built me a palace… That’s why I’ve decided to stand for them.”

Scheduled to premiere worldwide on 9 January 2026 during the Pongal festival, the film coincides with Vijay’s political launch of the TVK party last year.
