Tollywood Stars Rashmika And Vijay Keep Romance Under Wraps Ahead Of Intimate February Wedding

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are planning an intimate wedding on February 26, 2026, in a heritage castle in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The duo reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in the first week of October, according to information neither of them has confirmed.

Vijay and Rashmika Keep Love Private

On October 3, 2025, the day after Dasara, rings were exchanged between Rashmika and Vijay in Hyderabad. This revealed a celebration that neither of the actors, Vijay or Rashmika, was ready to make public.

However, confirmation of this engagement news from the first couple of Tollywood came via a reliable source, who also predicted their wedding for February. Only a few of their nearest and dearest were witnesses to what they dubbed their secret engagement ceremony.

Vijay’s romantic gesture towards Rashmika during an event for The Girlfriend was a quiet but significant acknowledgment of their relationship status, as they have not spoken about it since. Rashmika has also mentioned that her 'partner' lessened her pain, which was, however, not his doing.

Rashmika Keeps Wedding Plans Under Wraps

While they have kept their romance largely hidden, Rashmika hinted about it on a recent chat show hosted by actor Jagapathi Babu.

In a recent interview, The Girlfriend actress told the following about her wedding plans: “I don't want to confirm or deny the marriage. I'll simply say that when the time comes, we'll talk about it.”

The duo worked together in the 2019 film Dear Comrade and the well-received 2018 movie Geetha Govindam. They were also involved this year in the Bharat Beyond Borders event and were the main attraction at the 43rd India Day Parade in New York. The two actors' rings have been a common sight since the announcement of their engagement.

What Projects Are Rashmika And Vijay Doing?

Rashmika has now taken on the task of Cocktail 2, starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. Meanwhile, she is involved in a movie titled Mysaa, which has now been dubbed into Hindi. Vijay Deverakonda is working on the shooting of Rowdy Janardhana with Keerthy Suresh. Besides, he has a film project with director Rahul Sankrityan.
