Apple's Spring Surprise: Anticipating a New iPad Release in March or April
According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple will launch the latest iPad Air and iPad Pro with improved design and updates in March or April. While the new iPad Air will be based on the M2 chip, the upcoming iPad Pro will reportedly be powered by the latest M3 chip.
Apple enthusiasts are in for a treat in 2024 as the tech giant prepares to unveil an updated lineup with its iPad series, including new iterations of the iPad Pro and iPad Air according to a report by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman springing the anticipated launch -Seasonal is set, with expectations pointing to March or April, with new features and upgrades coming.
New iPad Air models: M2 chip and advanced connectivity

The brighter and more energy-efficient Apple models feat has been introduced to elevate the iPad Pro series. This technology promises a brighter screen, higher contrast, and less power consumption compared to current LCD models. When Apple adds an OLED display to the iPad Pro lineup, users can expect it to go up. A potential switch to OLED could also result in lower refresh rates, which could improve energy efficiency.
The addition of the M3 chip aims to increase processing speed, other expected features include MagSafe for wireless charging and a redesigned Magic Keyboard with an extended trackpad and aluminum top and the rear camera setup inspired by the iPad Air may be changed.
2023 is the first year to see no new iPad updates released but it seems more likely that 2024’s round of tablet updates should be expected to move down gears over the next few months. There have also been reports that Apple will release a new iPad and iPad mini as well, but Gurman doesn’t seem to believe either will arrive this March to April timeframe.
The same Bloomberg report also suggests that the redesigned M3 MacBook Air will be launched around the same time, with both the 13- and 15-inch models likely to be updated simultaneously for the first time.
