Amazon’s cloud business Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of Amazon Q an AI-powered assistant for software development and general enterprise data management.
The company claims that this AI chatbot creates, tests, and resolves highly accurate rules. It also reportedly provides multi-step deployment logic and the ability to implement new code generated from developer requests.
The company also said that Amazon Q makes it easier for employees to get answers to questions about business issues such as company structure, product information, operating results, reference codes, personnel, and many other topics.

Early indications suggest that Amazon Q can help our customer service employees be 80% more productive in their work, and with the new features we plan to introduce in the future, we think it will only get better,” said Dr. AWS Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Data. The announcement also includes both standard Amazon Q Developer and Amazon Q Business, as well as new Amazon Q Apps capabilities (in preview).
