Akhil Kumar Srivastava is the Managing Director of PARFAIT India. He holds a Postgraduate degree from the National Institute of Fashion and Technology, Delhi, and 14 years of rich industry experience withan in-depth understanding of the varied demographics and complex consumer behavior. Akhil had worked with renowned consumer brands like Walmart, Landmark, Times of India, to name a few, before joining as the Managing Director of PARFAIT India. Drawing inspiration from his previous professional stints, he knew it was time for him to create an organization that would stand out as a leader in the innerwear industry's niche field and makes a difference in socialnorms with his thoughtful deed.

Akhil has been recognized as 'India'Fastest Growing Leaders in 2018-19, and PARFAIT India has been recognized as the Fastest Growing Brand 2018-19 under his leadership. Despite such recognition and acknowledgments, Akhils prefers staying humble andcontinues inspiring the organization to create a better future for itself and its customers.

After completing studies in fashion and business, Akhil got the right leadership roles in his past assignments. He planned for his journey and involved past credentials in creating a package where he could discovera corner untapped by market andpeople both. PARFAIT started its journey with a plan to eliminate taboo when it comes to lingeriebraplus-size, heavy bust in society through body inclusivity and increased education and awareness on women's inner-wear health and hygiene for right wear and right care of their bodies.

One of the significant challenges was to create acceptance of all bodies/shapes/sizes/colourand be treated as equals and being aware of their respective sizes, explains Akhil. The sizes that do not limit to cup sizes till D are so much beyond this. It helps to discover the real self by offering different cup sizes and minimizes the taboo.

Developing Products Based on In-depth Research

Akhil believes a leader should be realistic and carry an in-depth research about the market and the product/solution that can prove resourceful whiletargeting the audience, and thisresearch must sync from the need to a product.

Spreading Awareness about Innerwear Health

"PARFAIT's regular efforts to raise health education and awareness of women's innerwear, providing all lingerie sizes in society, and using technology in the right-wing of the organization will help to innovate new products," expresses Akhil.

Akhil shares that technology is evolving every second andleadership qualities and control hasbeen transformed with it. Increasing Health and Hygiene Awareness

Through self-love portraits and self-care awareness, women have started being conscious of what to wear and how to wear, opines Akhil. "Similarly, lingerie acts as a second skin to your body. As the awareness of being self-conscious grows, women's understanding and awareness are increasing as part of health and hygiene awareness, which is also one of the critical drivers of the industry," he adds.
